Canon Canada has unveiled its spring advertising campaign featuring platinum selling, Juno Award winning and Grammy nominated recording artist Avril Lavigne. A new television commercial, starring Avril and Canon's new line of PowerShot Digital ELPH cameras. In addition to the TV commercial, Avril will also be featured in a series of outdoor ads. The billboards promote Canon's all-new Rebel T1i Digital SLR camera - the first Rebel camera to feature full HD video. Avril will also appear on in-store promotional materials and product packaging for Canon. Canon Canada announced its endorsement contract with Avril in October 2008 and has since featured the superstar artist in a number of broadcast ads and in-store marketing materials.
